The founder
Founder, Digital Marketing Success
Lauren is the founder of Digital Marketing Success (DMS), a Maine-based digital marketing and technology agency dedicated to helping businesses strengthen their online presence, streamline operations, and attract more customers.
Her journey in website development, software applications, and digital technology began in 2012, a decade before she officially established Digital Marketing Success, LLC, in 2022. What began as a passion for creating websites and finding smarter ways to use technology has evolved into a business focused on combining professional website design, artificial intelligence, search optimization, and automation to help small businesses compete and grow.
Lauren brings a unique combination of technical expertise, business administration, and organizational leadership to her work. She spent 12 years as an engineering coordinator for Time Warner Cable, earning 13 awards for performance excellence. Since 2020, she has served as Administrator of the Maine County Commissioners Association, an organization she first joined in 2013. Her responsibilities encompass financial management, administrative operations, communications, and event coordination.
A graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor's degree, Lauren also holds multiple professional certifications in computer and software applications. Her experience across corporate, government-related, nonprofit, and small-business environments gives her a practical understanding of the challenges organizations face—and how the right technology can make their work easier.
Today, through DMS and her AI search optimization platform, AEOptimal, Lauren helps businesses move beyond traditional websites by incorporating AI-powered customer communication, lead capture, reputation management, search visibility, and business automation.
Her philosophy is simple: Technology should make running a business easier, not more complicated. She believes small businesses deserve access to powerful, affordable digital tools without having to become technology experts themselves.
Beyond her professional work, Lauren is deeply committed to her community. She has served as Co-director of the Richmond Area Food Pantry since 2011 and previously served as Executive Director of The Rock Detective, an educational geoscience nonprofit.
Lauren lives in Dresden, Maine, with her family and pets, and remains actively involved in her local community.
